Everyone has their favorite green smoothie recipe, especially in the vegan world. I have found drinking a green smoothie a day definitely keeps the doctor away. Not to mention that they make my skin glow. Green smoothies not only provide you with a whole lot of vitamins and minerals, but they are a great substitute for an easy meal. I usually have a green smoothie when I’m running late for work, or as a meal replacement throughout the day. Feel free to share your favourite green smoothie recipes with me too.
Glowing Green Smoothie
1 frozen banana

1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon maca powder
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup almond milk
Use a blender and blend all the ingredients together.
Add more liquid if the mixture is too thick.
Garnish with desired toppings. I used more chia seeds, mint and oats.
